The new spill-resistant surface protects the smart Cherry introductory model during day-to-day work – and not only from coffee spillage.
Since the launch of the first model series in September 2006, the STREAM XT Corded MultiMedia Keyboard has been a resounding success. With the spill-resistant surface, the new series is now resistant to liquids, propelling the design keyboard to pole position in the internal Cherry sales charts. The longstanding number one in the list - the NTK keyboard - is facing stiff competition from the newcomer because the STREAM Corded MultiMedia Keyboard brings the flat-key feeling of a notebook to the desk and combines the full convenience of a standard keyboard with the cursor and number block functions. Only the layout of the keys is reminiscent of a "standard keyboard".
MultiMedia functions with no (installation) sidetracks With Plug & Play, the keyboard is ready for action straight away, making it the perfect choice for busy users and those who want to avoid the hassle of additional installations. 6 HotKeys control the Mediaplayer, generating full-on sound or a pleasant quiet atmosphere, getting right into the heart of the action or moving onto the next track. The easy installation, maintenance-free design thanks to the cable connection and the attractive price make the STREAM Corded MultiMedia Keyboard suitable for use in the office and ensure that the model is on the wish list of all IT administrators.
In open-plan offices, the silent key confirmation ensures that even an expert 10-finger typist only generates a pleasant background noise when typing. Only using the HotKeys to increase the volume of the Mediaplayer could still be the cause of bad feeling in the office. For fans of light colours, Cherry also offers the STREAM Corded MultiMedia keyboard in grey and silver / black.
Prices and availability: The Cherry STREAM XT Corded MultiMedia Keyboard will be available from authorised dealers in grey and black for €22.99. And in silver / black for €28.99.
